The steps of making xiaolongbao are as same as dumplings'. But the difference is that dumplings are cooked with boiled water, xiaolongbao is steamed with bamboo basket.
The skin of xiaolongao is thicker than dumplings'. Xiaolongao is known for its small size, rich materials, thin wrapping, succulency and delicious taste.
